Harnessing bioprocessing for the food and feed industry is not new, but it needs to be applied at scale. Technologies such as precision fermentation and cellular agriculture offer the potential to drastically reduce the land and CO2 footprints of food and feed production. Eridia enables companies in this space to produce food and feed for a growing world population whilst respecting the limits of the planet. We want to accelerate the development of this market with our customers.

Your tasks

  • You take a leading role in establishing the process engineering department for the food and feed sector

  • Process Engineering for customers in the food and feed industry is your core task
    You guide through all design phases of plant engineering: Feasibility studies, Concept-, Basic, Detail Design

  • With international commissioning you can see the plants you've designed come to live

  • Based on your expertise, you support and are involvement in preparing offers

  • You participate and present at international conferences and client meetings

  • You can select appropriate engineering tools


Your profile

  • You hold a degree in biotechnology, process engineering or similar

  • With 5-10 years of experience in biotechnology-, dairy/ brewery- or comparable branches of the food-industry you are the perfect fit for this thrilling journey with Eridia

  • You have already proven yourself in developing, planning, realising and commissioning chemical or biotechnological plants

  • Experience with Siemens COMOS would give you a head-start

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Excellent English skills are required

    • Basic German knowledge would be highly appreciated. Further languages beneficial

  • You enjoy international travels to customers and other sites

The minimum gross salary for this position is € 4.200,-- per month (38.5 hours/week). We offer you a salary in line with the market depending on your qualifications and professional experience.
